A little bit about me....

Hello, students :)

Welcome to RWG3, Fall Quarter. Hope that the following introductions help you learn a little bit more about me and about your classmates.

I've lived in Seattle for almost 8 years now. I moved from the middle part of the U.S. At first, I didn't like living in Seattle, but now I'm a fan. Because I have been here a while, I can recommend some good places for you to visit. Some of my favorite places are the Seattle Art Museum, Presse (French food restaurant), Vivace (coffee place), Carkeek Park, the Central Library, the SIFF Cinema, and Eva (European restaurant). I hope that you will discover some favorite places of your own during your time here.

This summer I traveled to Costa Rica. It was my first time visiting a Spanish-speaking country. Spanish is my second language, so I understand how you feel as you are learning. There were times when I was totally confused or tired of listening all day in Spanish. Still, though, this experience was amazing: we visited hot springs near a live volcano, the cloud forest, and warm beaches and jungles. Also, I got to snorkeling for the first time ever. I actually saw fish that looked like fish from Finding Nemo. :) I hope to return to Costa Rica someday.

Okay, that's all for now about me. Write you more later!
